About Me

I'm Jason D'Souza, an Engineering Manager based in Melbourne, Australia. I joined Rome2Rio when it was a small startup and have grown with it ever since, from software engineer to leading a cross-functional team across engineering, product, and growth.

I care deeply about the products I work on, but I've come to believe that getting the people stuff right is what makes everything else possible. My focus is on creating leaders, not followers. Giving engineers real ownership, real growth, and an environment where they're set up to do their best work. In my experience, when you get that right, the product tends to follow.
